Hotel Elena - Stresa

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the lake and lively piazza, but the beds were uncomfortable for me.

Favourable, wonderful location right in the centre of the town. And next to the train station and the promenade, and the main square that is central to the main part of town that everyone seems to flock to in the afternoon and evenings to eat and drink.

Stunning location so close to the square where the market is held and ferries and the centre of the main shopping area in Stresa, it's very central.

The hotel is well-located near many attractions.

Our room was uncomfortably warm without air conditioning. The church bells rang loudly in the mornings, disrupting any chance of sleeping in. I was disappointed that the bed had a wooden foot at the end.

The room was clean with a nice balcony, but the shower was tiny and frustrating.

Excellent very traditional hotel right on the main square of Stresa. To the quay and ships stop it is 3 minutes on foot. There is no air conditioning but there is a balcony, refrigerator, fan, bidet, etc. In the morning, they give a decent Italian breakfast and make coffee to order.

Great location and cozy vibes

The place is super close to the lake and tons of charming cafes. My room had a nice balcony overlooking the plaza, a great spot for morning coffee. Breakfast in the lounge was awesome, but I did notice some leftover soaps from the previous guests. Still, the staff were super nice!

I'd recommend to make a canopy over the balcony. In the rain, the furniture gets wet.

the hotel is in the heart of Stresa, to the terminal with boats - 3 minutes walk, decent breakfast, there is a balcony in the room, daily room cleaning, there's everything you need in the room.

The location is very nice, just a minute's walk to the lake, and the vibrant piazza is right outside my window. The staff were genuinely friendly.

Had a fantastic stay for a vacation, everything was good. The breakfast was very good with great coffee and fresh fruit, for instance, perfect to start our day. The location was great in a shopping area, near the main square that is central to the main part of town that everyone seems to flock to in the afternoon and evenings to eat and drink, Isola Bella, Isola Pescatore and Isola Madre, and beautiful Stresa. Really enjoyed our time at the hotel, thank you.

No air conditioning makes for stuffy nights!!! Room could use a bit more modernization to match expectations!!! Consider replacing those dated furnishings for a fresher feel!!!
